Hey guys, I am visiting my girlfriend in Baton Rouge this week and looking for some places to hit up while she's in class and buy some good brews! I know of Chimes and Pelican House and will be hitting up those places for sure. But what other places have some good beers on draft? And what stores sell some good bottles that I can pick up? (I'm from Dallas for good measures) Hopefully I can find some Parish Ghosts that I've heard about Thanks!
The bulldog and the cove will both be good beer bars. The chimes by LSU still had ghost on tap Saturday so it might still be around. Bottles see probably all gone. As for stores, Cuban liquor, calandro's on Perkins, Alexander's market on highland and the beverage store on Florida.
They aren't in walking distance, but the cove, pelican house and bulldog are about a 10 minute drive. As for bottle shops, Cuban would be your closet place.... It's right down the road from the bulldog
Thank you very much! I visited Cuban Liquor and The Beverage Store and picked up some stuff from The Bruery and other bottles. And Chimes did have some Parish Ghost in the Machine. It is a nice IPA and definitely compares to the top IPAs i have had.
