I was just catching up on some reading and I see that Bavarian Barbarian is going out of business. That was kind of a shocker to me. Although their bottles haven't made their way to my neck of the woods yet, I always enjoy their beer at the festivals. Their beers were really good, and most of them seemed to enjoy above average ratings. I wonder what happened? It can't be because of the beer. Anyone have more details? Bad business model? Or was it the location? Anyone know? It's said to see a really good PA craft brewery go under, while the rest of the beer scene elsewhere is just exploding.

Well that pretty much explains it then. It sounds like they weren't making enough to pay the bills. Overhead must be a bitch.
