I hear Baxter just released a DIPA. Anyone had it yet? I think it's called Bootleg Fireworks.

NH is getting it. I know Craft Beer Cellar in Portsmouth is getting a 4 case allotment, so it will be around but maybe not bountiful.

I won't be buying it. Most Baxter beers are terribly unmemorable to downright bad. Hopefully they can pull this off to some degree. It will at least get a ratings bump just for being a DIPA.

Had a pilot DIPA at brewery this summer. It was excellent. Hopefully this is pretty much same thing.

The next good beer Baxter puts out, will be the first good beer they put out (resenting them because they are all over Southern Vermont for some reason taking up valuable shelf space). Ho Hum brewers such as Baxter, Finch are just diluting the craft beer brand and taking up way to much shelf space.

I hear ya. baxter just became available in CT so I grabbed their mixed twelve pack to give them a shot. My favorite one was the lager. I thought it was a good example of an under-appreciated style, in this world of DIPAs and all. The rest of them? Not so much. I foresee a lot of old Baxter beer being on the shelves next to the old last new beer that was brought in.

kind of harsh considering on the count of three is the best canned hefe around. I also like the xpa pamola and Tarnation is a great option for my friends who drink macro beers when they come over. Bootleg fireworks is solid especially for the price. I'll reveiw it when my sinuses clear

Having a can as we speak.

Tasty and in the vein of Lawsons, Heady and Fiddlehead. Not mind-blowing but a nice option to have when you don't have access to the others as they sell quickly.

Interested to try this. While I was picking up some Bissell Bros Substance at the brewery, my wife grabbed some of these cans across town. She said she "just knew by the look of the can" it would be something I like! :-)

I saw it today and couldn't pull the trigger on it for this reason. I'll let someone else be the guinea pig

To each their own but my review was just well below the average apparently. Along with the taste, even the peachy smell took on a harsh medicinal feel as I continued drinking. Although to be fair I saved this for after a can of The Substance which drank very nicely. I will force the rest of this 4-pk down unless someone wants an IP trade in RI. :-)

Table and Vine is sitting on about 12 cases as of last night.

A true Hop Bomb. I have finally had a beer that can be accurately described as such. Open the can, stand a couple of feet away and you can smell hops. The taste was a mix between fruity and bitter hops. I really enjoyed this one, and will be back for more 4 packs.

Im so interested in how certain beers do well in certain places. For instance, at my shops in Hopkinton,Marlboro and now Southboro, we absolutely blow through Baxter. I got 10cs of Bootleg on Thursday and Im down to 5cs.

I also personally enjoy most of their beers, and its surprising to hear the negative coments. I would think if nothing else, people would fin Baxter beers to be solid and drinkable.
