These guys are really getting dialed in. Stowaway when fresh is always a welcome favorite of mine. Plus it can be bought in any gas station or super market in ME. Palmola and the amber are and were always drinkable. The summer beer and Tarnation are definatley acquired taste beers and not their best. IMO. Phanthom Punch was much improved this year. No burnt taste. The Impy Heff was such a cool beer. Daughters of the Posiden was pretty tasty. Bootleg Fireworks was a winner for sure. Now sipping on Window Seat. Another solid beer.

Have only tried a couple of Baxter beers. Stowaway was OK. But i wouldnt drink Bootleg again. Too boozy for my taste(and Im a DIPA fan)

Tough market in Northern NE....but I'm sure Baxter does OK

baxters takes up entirely to much shelf space in these parts and everything I've had is so so.

Baxter is really hit or miss with me, but Window Seat is great! Very comparable to Wormtown Norm IMHO! I will be purchasing more of it. Cheers!

The couple times I had Stowaway it was solid.

Tarantinon was okay but if I wanted a steam beer I'd choose good old Anchor 10 times out of 10, or go with the local option Cease & Desist at Bog Iron if it's pouring.

Window Seat sounds like it would appeal to me based on what I've read.

Keep an eye out for Ceremony. Session IPA brewed with green tea.

Bootleg is one of the worst beers of recent memory.

This is so odd to me. I have seen people say this, yet I sold 10cs in under a week. Im not saying I thought it was phenomenal, but it cant be the worst beer in recent memory.

Tons of repeat customers and people STILL looking for it.

I bought a 4-pack the day it hit my store in Boston. Wasn't looking for it, just figured I'd give it a try. I enjoyed the first few cans, but even with just a few weeks of age it became boozier and more difficult to drink. Still a good beer when fresh, certainly wouldn't call it bad.

I don't mind Stowaway. Thought Amber Rd was good for what it was trying to be, but I know that's retired.
Thought Hayride was a complete mess of a beer.

yeah...boozy is exactly the problem. But that's what it tasted like the day I brought it home. Never checked for a date, as I thought I understood it was new to the store when I bought it

Still don't understand why people hate Baxter so much. Nothing mind blowing but I'd rather see Stowaway or almost any of their beers on tap at a bar than some shitty Harpoon seasonal. Nothing wrong with doing above average beers for a below average price.

I'm not a big fan of coconut but I like Window Seat. Bootleg Fireworks was a little too boozy tasting for me. The only beer they've released that I really don't care for at all is Pamola. I picked up a 4-pack of Ceremony this morning and look forward to trying one later today.

I thought that Bootleg Fireworks was actually very good when fresh. Both Window Seat and Ceremony have also impressed me for what they are. I think they have been turning out some good beer lately, hope they keep it up.

Is preference over a Harpoon seasonal all it takes now? I could list off beers long enough for a Harpoon seasonal keg to kick at a bar before I got to a Baxter beer as what I wanted to replace it.

Stowaway is a solid brew - my go-to beer.

I enjoyed Window Seat a lot. Nice chocolate and coconut flavor. Not an every day beer, but a nice treat. I was surprised it didn't have a higher rating.

Please get Baxter out of Vermont. It takes up WAY to much shelf space along with a couple of other mediocre breweries.
