Visiting in CA and it seems to be a little more strick on where I can bring my own bottles and share with friends (of course I always support the local business' as well)

Just wondering if anyone knew of some places I could at least pay a "corking fee"

Brewery or bar. Just want to watch some football and drink good beer

In SF, the SOMA Street food park is pretty mellow for popping a few bottles with buddies. Worth a look.

Also, lots of TV s in the center area playing ball games.

Definitely do NOT try and do that at Zeitgeist. I've read stories of people being thrown out for bringing in outside stuff.

Most bars and breweries will not let you bring outside bottles (unless you are a regular and are sharing with the staff, or have ok'd it with them beforehand if you are using their space for a bottleshare). I would suggest finding a restaurant that doesn't serve alcohol. Andres's suggestion is a good one too.
