I hear ya. I try to stay away from that part of SF. But the wife wants to eat lunch at the clam chowder place and hit up the chocolate place too. So afterwards we will do lunch in Chinatown and then move over to Cellermaker before catching our flight back to lax. Win win for both of us I guess. I’ll just have to deal with the madness of the masses for a bit. Cheers.

Thx for some of the suggestions. We never made it to Pier 39. :relieved:
SFO car rental was a disaster. Fast forward...we had lunch, walked to Embarcadaro. Back in our rental to City Beer Store. King Citra was outstanding! I need to fly to Monterey Fieldworks for a crowler fill to go. Or the next can release of KC. Hit up Cellarmaker before heading back to SFO for our flight back to LAX. It was another successful day trip to SanFrancisco.

Too many style of pizza these days to choose from. I just want a good pizza at a fair price. Even if it’s a bit over fair price that’s okay as long as it’s worth the $$. One of the best pizza I had was earlier this year in Seoul Korea. https://seoulfoodpatrol.com/neighborhood-pizza/
I don’t know which one was the bonus, their pizza or their beers on tap. Craft beer & pizza in Korea. What a great idea.

FWIW I had the jalapeno corn pizza at cellarmaker yesterday and thought it was amazing. Opinion was shared by the 3 people with me

I didnt like the pepperoni much but was very pleasantly surprised by the other pizzas we tried there

Just wanted to chime in on the pizza, if you're ever near 21st and Valencia there's a pizza spot called Serrano's. They have the best slices IMHO and it's priced good, no frills just regular pizza. Don't get the whole pizza as it's not that good, don't know why but it's not. They don't serve any alcohol but you could take it to go, pick up some revision at Rhea's deli (19th n Valencia) then walk up to Dolores park and enjoy. Also there's little star pizza which they make Chicago style pizza w corn meal crust which is amazing but they also make a mean thin crust. They serve some beer on draft but nothing to write home about, it's on 15th and Valencia.
