Anyone have any thoughts on the best place to pick up beer (probably bottles/cans not growlers) near Bayside, WI? I from WI and am up there a few times a year, so I am familiar with most of the good WI breweries, but haven't really found a great place to buy beer while visiting my in-laws in Bayside. Is Otto's any good?
Your best bet is Discount Liquor, which is slightly south of downtown Milwaukee. Woodman's in Kenosha is also a good one if you're driving in from Indiana. Otto's tend to be okay, but not near as good of a selection as Discount.
I like Otto's on Oakland and Kensington Liquor (heard its great, haven't been to this one yet). Both are MUCH closer to bayside than Discount. Also, I believe there is an Otto's in the North Shore somewhere.
