That's easy. @flat_lander and I both have what you're looking for. So, you should obviously trade it.

I've thrown my bottles of BA Expedition in my list of stuff FT at various times over the past 8 months or so, and don't think I've had a single person inquire about it. I get queries on things like Dark Lord or Darkness, but not BA Expedition. Go figure.

Interesting...BA Expedition is certainly better than both of those.

I've never actually traded (I should probably change my profile) so I don't really know how the "market" works.

Start with the fact that people think that Bells is too big & produce too much so rarity goes out the window. People prefer to drink one off or batch 1 beers from some place that they've never heard of before but is getting all of the hype on the interwebz

I did the 16/17 taste test as well. Definitely liked the 17 better, but still have saved a number because it just didn’t seem like the same beer as opposed to the 16 aging poorly.

Had one within the last few weeks and it definitely wasn’t going downhill.

This is all true. If anyone wants to talk a trade on their leftovers, I'm your Huckleberry...

Thanks to a few solid MI Ba's I was able to end up with I believe a 6er in total of 2017 back when it dropped. Gave up some decent stuff to get it too, and was happy to. Drank one immediately, have shared a few with friends, and have a few saved. They are one of my favorite things I have in my cellar, along with a 4 year vertical of regular to go with it.

17 is definitely better than 16. As far as trading, I’ve had quite a few people get Black Note and BA Expo confused. They’ve either asked what is was or insist it got distributed in another state only to finally realize after convincing that it was BN.

Stopped in the general store at Bell’s a couple hours ago and could not pull any info from anyone about BA expedition. On the way home, however, I did see a few four packs of BN still on shelves

On Eccentric Day at the brewery, they apparently had it on tap along with 30th Anniversary. My group of friends and I decided to go, but we’re not allowed inside because we weren’t dressed “eccentric” enough (everyone else were wearing costumes). Since then, I’ve kind of stayed away from Bell’s and their bullshit “do whatever’s the fuck they want” practices.

To be fair, they’ve only been doing eccentric day for 20 some years.

They only require the dress code when they’re crowded and there’s a wait. You can go at the end of the night in T-shirt and jeans.

Also, the tap list that day is insane. It was one of many heavy hitters. Along with free food.

Most of their employees don’t know, they keep them in the dark to, it’s how Larry plays it.
I’ve had BA 30th a few times on draft and can only hope they bottle it someday. It’s the pinnacle Bells beer for me.

I hear ya, my wife wanted to go out to our favorite restaurant on New Years eve and because they had special event for that day the restaurant was requiring men to wear a suit coat to attend. Just for this event, you normally don't have to. I knew in advance about this, but I didn't want to wear a suit coat. When we showed up to the restaurant and I didn't have a suit coat on they wouldn't let us in. I've kind of stayed away from that restaurant and their bullshit do whatever the fuck they want practices...

That's the problem with places that have those policies for only certain days/events. Places that always require a coat and tie will *usually* keep a set on hand for the occasional gentleman that shows up without a coat and/or tie. At least, this has been my experience. A bit problematic to not have them on hand.
