They had about 2 cases left this morning around 11:30 AM...

I was hoping to trade for some, but the ISOs for those who have it, and the FTs for those who want it seem far too extreme for my taste.

 

Agreed that it is all over the place. Seeing Regal for a 4pack, highly doubt that is getting done. They are looking for a brewery only 4pack and not even going $4$, too much Regal around. Likewise, I don't think anyone is getting a VR for a 4pack either. This should trade in the CW 18 for 2 BB Expo in my opinion. If anyone is looking for it with limited shelf beer, they will have to go over $4$.

 

Yeah I noticed a lot of regal posts. I have no interest in regal and could have bought it when it came out. I don't see most people taking regal for BA expo. Also a lot of people asking for a full 4 pack. Honestly for half an allotment, that seems like a big ask. Since there was no warning, and available for basically a day, don't think people were able to grab their mules as fast and stock up.

I was considering trading 2-4 bottles, but don't even know what I would pursue at this point.

 

I wonder how rare this will actually be considering it seems it's a sort of one time only thing considering the only reason they had the BA Expedition in the first place was because the BA Double Cream failed or whatever.

 

That's how i feel, there where a couple of 2 bottles requests but no real wants on the lists.

Agreed. If more 2 bottle requests appear I might consider it. But asking for 4-8 of these (and the cardboard holder, I'll never get collecting those...) is a lot. Then saying a 4 pack for a regal. Get real.

Maybe the local assisted living facility is just crazy about barrel aged stouts. Along with the jitterbug, spam, and yelling about what in the modern world makes them angry (BBA stouts could be on that list...)

 

Yea, I saw an elderly woman (I'd guess 70) walk up with 2 six packs of Bell's Porter (similar color scheme as BBA Exp), when the cashier rung her up she said, "Oh, this isn't what I want, I need the barrel aged one." to which the cashier responded, "I'm sorry, I can't sell you any more BA Expo, I remember you from earlier today..."
