BBA Expedition

Thanks for the link. I had a line about distributing out of state, but I saw a few TTB approvals for in-state only breweries, so I made a bad assumption and took it out. I wonder if a TTB COLA is required for any beer Bell's (or other multi-state distributing breweries) produces, since while they may not sell BBA Expo outside of Michigan, they do sell other beer outside the state.

Also, last year, they went through TTB label approval for BBA Expo. I don't think we can read anything regarding distro into the existence of the TTB approval.

I will say that hopefully they purposely made this year's batch for release as BBA Expo, meaning there is hope there will be enough for distro. The rumors last year were that BBA Expo was released only because a portion of the BBA Special Double Cream went bad. Given how much Black Note was released last year, I don't know if I believe that. However, BBA Expo was released ahead of both Black Note batches, so that fed the rumor mill more. Let's hope they saw the success of BBA Expo and decided to release a full batch of it.

 

Either way, I'm ready to drop what I'm doing at work and take the rest of the day off to drive down and get some.

 

I stopped by the store yesterday and they told me they have no clue when it will be released and that they have been getting bombarded with phone calls about the label being released.

Looks like BBA Cherry has a new label too? Won't fool me again Bell's. That was a huge waste of money last time.

Concrete confirmation of BA expo is welcome. Perhaps they will distribute some to Chicagoland as last years.
