    Hi there,

trying to find some of this for a friend. Is there any left or did i miss the boat on this one? Is there anywhere in MA where this is still sitting around?

    Thanks

You should still be able to find it around. If you give your location people may be able to be a bit more helpful. The Vanilla and coffee variations will be out this upcoming Thursday at the brewery and after that at Julio's.

Granite in Weymouth. It's on the 'limited' shelf so they shouldn't go too fast.

Doubt it, it's just that Julio's is where the official release is.

Fairly sure the variants are brewery and Julios-only. Think someone said Julios bought JA the barrels or something like that. That could just be a rumor though.

I think JA said that themselves on here that the barrels are from Julio's that is why they are doing the release there.

You can still get the bba framinghammer at the brewery for six dollars per.

I picked up 2 bottles at New England Wine & Spirits in Newburyport on Friday. They were in the coolers in the back of the store on the far left. I wouldn't have seen them back there if I hadn't asked.

Sounds strange. Regular BA Framinghammer barrels weren't from Julio, why would barrels for variants come from them?

Julio's goes to Kentucky to pick out bourbon they want to sell in their store and they get the barrels. They hand those barrels over to brewers to make specialty beer just for them. Last year is was Smuttynose.

It's not what I asked. I said regular BA Framingham barrels weren't from Julio's - they were procured through Atlantic Importing. So my questions was: why would variants then be procured through Julio's? Atlantic certainly has enough power to bring in more barrels.

Can whiskey be sold w/o a distributor? Or Julio's does distributorship as well?

Gordon's in Watertown had some today.

Because Julio's wanted Jack's Abby to make a special beer for them that Julio's can only sell in their store and wanted them to use the barrels they got, so I did answer your question just not as well as you wanted. But you know what, just ask Julio's.
