The places that tweeted it are doing a timed release. Everyone else just got smart and put it out, to hell with people calling them pieces of shit for holding out.
Is it just me or is every beer that's remotely limited now being put on timed release in ATL? Announcing timed releases for every limited beer only adds to the hype. KBS, Black Note... those I get, but some of the beers dropping this week don't need timed releases IMO.
KBS, black note, hopslam, CRWnB, WCMH and that should be it. They need to draw the line somewhere and it should be with those. Regarding bba imperial biscotti break, I think it is one of the best beers I've ever had.
Hopslam shouldn't be a shit show. I've never been ANYWHERE in the last 2 years where I had to wait anywhere for that beer. Walk in, ask for it, walk out. I manage no less than 3 six packs of it every year and I don't chase it or follow twitter or any of that stuff. The CRWnB and WCMH.. those shouldn't be the way there were this year. Both beers were good, but the hype was way, way above what the beer could have ever come out to be. Terrapin could make more, but love the hype. Evident by them saying they'll release again each year shortly after the 1st round of bottles. Anyways- good luck finding some BBA IBB.. It's got great reviews and ratings, and it's not a shelf turd.
It'd be nuts just to find this out on the shelf... never had it, but really want to try it. I can't wait to wait in line for it!
It's just chilling on the shelf at Greens for $20 a piece. Or at least there were around 5 bottles left last night around 8 when I grabbed one
I found a BBiBB on the shelf in Greenville a good four months after the first batch release. I was shocked. Got two of this last batch release. It's yummy.
Whew, what a week. I've never worked so hard to get so little, methinks I will not kill myself like this next year...
