Had one Saturday night. Surprised by it's subtlety. I was expecting a fairly big beer with such flavorings to be more brash. Maybe it's a coffee beer that's actually restrained enough for you to tolerate!

Inspired by this post to open one tonight. I'm also thankful that the coffee is restrained, and that the base porter is still a part of the flavor profile. I love coconut, but I must have a high tolerance for it in beer, because rare is the beer where I think there's enough. I get a hint in the aroma, but no flavor, even as it warms. Pretty glad I have multiple cans for further exploration.

I dig the more modern geometric art style for cans in general, but I have a soft spot for the Native American aesthetic of the earlier designs and feel like there is wealth of cool brand identities in that vein to continue exploring.

BTW, for anyone coming through town, the Lakeway Fred Meyer still had 9 4-packs of the BBW beer. 3 in the cold case, 6 on a warm shelf.

Have an opening date yet? People keep asking me, and I keep telling them "it opens when it opens". IIRC, y'all were shooting for June 1?
