This will be my first winter in BC, and I’ve noticed a few BA releases starting to drop, like Four Winds Boreas and Lighthouse Depth Charge. Which others are worth seeking out? I’m a fan of straight up bourbon BA Stouts and those with one adjunct (vanilla, coconut, etc.) over the crazy pastry stuff, and I also like non-Stout BA beers and/or those in unusual spirits/woods. After becoming accustomed to Fremont’s $30 (US) bombers, $10 bombers and $20 4x16oz pricing is a pleasant surprise. I’ve heard from a few breweries that BA beers are a tougher sell here, but I didn’t think that would mean the pricing was so different!
Not a lot of options that I can think of unfortunately, I wish we saw more Brassneck - Inertia II Dageraad - Entropy #15 Bourbtwerpen (BBA tripel) Twin Sails - Barrel Aged Str8 Flexin'
Back Country has a bunch around from last year at shops, a couple new ones and more coming. There's usually a few Twin Sails releases around now to January. Container BA Seawise should be out at some point. Howe Sounds puts out multiple, some better than others. There's quite a bit if you know where to look, but yeah compared to WA they're pretty damn cheap, so it's painful they don't sell well
