I am visiting the Orlando area and have notice quite a bit of BCBS and BCBW around town still. Anyone know why this may be? I feel like where I'm from, it is completely sold out in hours yet I have been to multiple stores in the area and 2-3 cases of it are still available. You FL guys just not into it or was it widely distro'd here?
Small shops and bars who don't take their allotment or refused it back to the distributors and re-distributed the past week or so. BCBW generally isn't widely loved around here, on release date most took full allotments sans BW. We had quite a bit of BCBS to go around but your likely finding the smaller spots that didn't get put out on Black Friday or just aren't widely visited.
I was out in Sacramento about 3 weeks ago and noticed the same, lots of it sitting on the shelf even in a beer geek place.
Fl got a metric-f*ck ton of BCBS this year. Total wine in Daytona got 27 cases of regular and 3 cases of Rare. That's just one store in a crappy town. I know of several more stores in the Daytona area that also received large allotments and several are still turding up the shelves. Hopefully other people buy it, 'cause I won't.
