This is pretty impressive: http://www.vancouversun.com/business/craft+beer+industry+hopping/9588472/story.html Almost 20% market share for Craft Beer in the province. I'd be curious to know what proportion of that is driven by Granville and Russell. They seem to be pretty ubiquitous at house parties.
If only my wife would let me quite my job, lose my pension, liquidate our assets and start my brewery then I could help bump up that Ontario number..... I wonder if the LCBO/Beer Store stranglehold has anything to do with the limited grow in craft in Ontario?
Is Granville still considered Craft? Even their wikipedia page has a slight dig in the first line: "Granville Island "was" a microbrewery..."
It's listed in their "established breweries" list at the end of the article, so I assume it counts towards that number.
