BC's going to be getting Ale Apothecary brews through Untapped. I tried their Sahati recently and it was delicious.

Had a tasting session with Untapped a few months ago and they were 'hoping' to eventually get AA in. Have loved all the ones I've drank from them. Would be great to have here but they're super limited as it is and sell out quite fast in Oregon. (edit: just saw their post, crazy they actually signed em! hope it isn't $40 a bottle!)

Also, had a good laugh when Untapped tweeted directly to Hill Farmstead about bringing them into BC. Optimism!

LOL! They should have said "Hey… wouldn't it be weird if you shipped beers to BC? Let's talk…"

On a related note, they did the same to Crux today. Yes, please.

This is the best beer news I've heard in a long time. My favorite Oregon Brewery.

More Oregon brewery news: Caldera is in town. I know Central City just got some.

No-Li has hit their shelves as well.

Some news from this side of the border:

The bad: Singularity's been delayed. Didn't reach it's final gravity in time for the usual release date.
The good: A new Bird of Prey is on it's way soon (supposedly of the mad bruin ilk).

Crux shouldn't be a problem for you guys to get. Although if you got Ale Apothecary before we did in WA, there'd be hell to pay.

It's not just the great beer that makes them cool, their whole brewing philosophy is pretty awesome. Paul is an artist and has a ton of experience backing things up. I believe he came up with (or at least helped develop) the recipes for Dissident, Abyss, Black Butte anniversaries, and several more while at Deschutes. Just dying to check the place out one of these days.

Hill Farmstead in BC is quite literally something I'd dream about, but that ain't happening I'm sure. I wish we could do a group-buy of the stuff from the brewery though!

Singularity being delayed is OK by me, as I doubt I'd drink more than one this year - they're going into the stash!

Had a taste of the Brassneck Brett Saison. It's tasty. Will report back more after downing the growler. fyi it's not barrel aged, Nigel compared it to the Logsdon one in that he prefers their non-oaked one, I agree.

Also grabbed an $18 six pack of Red Chair, thanks BC Government!

Yup, 1.5 glasses in and I'm loving the Brassneck Brett Saison. For me it's rather smooth/creamy compared to other brett saisons I've had (out of the bottle at least, this is technically on tap). It's nice and cloudy, frothy, and the funk starts off quite subtle but builds quite a bit, my first empty glass was rather pleasantly stinky. Regretting only getting a litre. Might have to grab more tomorrow for playoffs!

Yeah that was good stuff. Closer to Logsdon than Four Winds, though I'd put it on par with Four Winds for tastiness IMO. I'm impressed!

Yup, really dug the glass I had. Got a 1L but will likely go back soon for another glass and a sausage.

2014 RIS just hit the shelves at Parallel 49. I might go grab a couple bottles of that today!
