    Hi All,
What is a BCBCS 2012 or BCBS Cherry Rye 2012 bomber going for these days?
What would be a 1:1 for it (or a 1:1+)?
I've seen a range of trades/requests, but don't want either end of this trade to be unfair.
    Any advice/recommendation is appreciated
    Cheers

    2 different animals

It would take 3 or 4 BCBCS to acquire a Cherry Rye.

for Cherry Rye 1:1, you are just about in the Fou Foune range, Proprieters, bottles like this
for BCBCS bomber, you are looking at probably 2 or 3 bottles of KBS, Black Note, BBPT5, bottles like this. 1:1 I'm not sure, maybe Hunaphu?

    thanks,
yea... i realize that since bcbcs wasnt a one-timer like cherry rye, that its a bit 'weaker' of an animal; but it is a bomber (pre-4pk), at the least.
and i know cherry rye is 'up there', but don't really know how far up, cuz it's likely among other things that are out of my reach as well, to be honest. so, learning of the comparable bottles definitely helps educate me some.

BCBCS bomber is probably pretty easy to get these days. Maybe 3 pre-2014 KBS
Cherry Rye (not my cup of tea) may go for a Backyard plus a 12oz bcbs; if those are not in your cards maybe BA Speedway+, or Saint Lam non-vintage.

You got a list of possible bottles for trade?

From trying these trades this year I can tell you my experience was that a cherry rye would take 6-8 bottles of 2013 bcbcs or a Backyard + 3 bcbcs. I tried a few times. Cherry rye is a lot harder than it used to be

Agreed that Cherry rye is getting tougher to find. I have traded Mocha Wednesday for CR+ a couple times, and all parties were happy with that.

I realize that the wording of my OP is vague haha.. my bad
    i have a bottle of BCBCS '12.
and i have a bottle of Cherry Rye '12.
and curious what they'd (independently) go for.

    i'm more and more convinced that the bcbcs isnt what it used to be (trade value), with how widespread it has become '13 w/ it in 4pks now, and essentially trade for what i can already get (or would not be interested in);

and as for the cherry rye, i'm curious what the Cherry Rye would land. I'm just hesitant to give away the Cherry Rye for something that isn't an equivalent (or something that i'm not really into). ie- i'm headed up to HF, but not so keen on giving it up for a rotating saison or IIPA, but rather a big imp.stout (BA/variant) or a rarer sour/lambic that i can cellar. i realize its a pretty good trading bottle, but seeing things by name help put it into context -- and which i've likely never had and do want, ie-
Fou Foune range, Proprieters, BA Speedway+, Saint Lam, Backyard+, almost a MW (all as mentioned above)

I hope you can land a Fou or a Prop, I just don't think Cherry Rye would be able to do that.

Backyard is better IMO, if you were able to snag a Saint Lam you would be a happy man.

    Cheers,

hope you are happy with whatever you get

Not to highjack but would CR + Bramble be able to land a Fou plus a Saint Lam???

I'm pretty sure I just saw cherry rye go 1:1 with prop. You may need to add a small + but its close.
