So I remember seeing something like November-ish in that article that came out on BCBS day this year. Anyone else heard anything about the Coffee release this year? Any approximations on bottle count? Anyone think it might be as easy as regular BCBS to get in Chicago this time around? Just wondering over here and I don't believe I've seen a thread on this yet... Sorry if I'm wrong on that or it's too soon or something....
I've been trying to remember the approximate time release as well. I know its either Oct or Nov, and Cheery Rye being early 2013. I am sure no one has a bottle count of either yet
Yeah that was the impression I got. And there seems to still be a possibility of the wheat whiskey as well still..
312 party - No wheat Whiskey - drain pour ( Brett Porter) ; Cherry Rye - label approved - tasting great ( facebook response from Goose ). Coffee - 312 party - the BEST coffee so far ( Brett Porter ).
Are the variant numbers going to be increased on the same scale as BCBS or at all from previous years?
This is really the big question. My hope is yes. And my expectation is there will be more but might not be quite as easy to land as the regular was/is in Chicago. Pure speculation though on my part here.
I too am hoping that the increase in BCBS will result in a proportionate increase in the variants. Even with such an increase, I seriously doubt there's going to be a cherry rye or coffee BCS sitting in back rooms of no-name liquor stores weeks after the main roll-out. I was one of 70 people lining up on a Friday morning at Castle Vav last year for BCS Coffee. I'm pretty sure most of us would have easily bought 2-4 bottles, given the opportunity.
