BCBCS at Nova tonight

There are also a bunch of rare bottles that they're selling in the restaurant. Just called, I'd seen a tweet that they have TG's Naughty Temple, which I've been wanting to try. Yes, they still have it - and it's $49/bottle. I was planning on taking my family there for dinner, but that is just too flipping pricy.

My god- is their gold in the bottle? I dont know much about the beer, but a quick search notes its a 8% IPA. What am I missing that anyone would pay that price??

 

Around $25/bottle when it came out which is bad enough. $49 is just pure insanity.

 

Its a toffee bomb. If that's your thing its worth $25 but certainly not $49.

 

Definitely toffee/vanilla/amazing bomb! I got mine for $25 and wish I would have picked up another. Wouldn't pay $49 for another bottle, but was buzzed and down at El Bait Shop last Friday night and almost pulled the trigger on one of the bottles they have left at $40 (so my Brother-in-law could try it).

 

Its amazing on tap...especially @ TG.

 

Looks like it was barrel aged, so I suppose in this market means retail in stores was about $15-20 for a bottle. Given this is a small brewery, there was probably about ten bottles made!

 

There is so much information about this beer available that you don't need to talk out of your ass.

Retail it was $25 (see three of the posts above yours). 6 barrels were made. 3 were deemed by the brewer to be worthy. Those were blended and bottled and that is what was made available. The other three were made available via tap at the Brewery and at other events.

If you have a problem with the price, don't pay it. I think 49 is crazy and I won't event think of paying it. I think 25 is a little high so I didn't try and track one down.

 

I could have bought one for 25 plus tax and that put it damn near 30 plus driving to hudson = no thanks. not worth it to me, but it definitely was to others.

BCBCS was great, grabbed some bottles of Sue from the store along with some other singles.

 

was there a good amount of Sue? hoping to scoop up a few tomorrow.

 

Didn't do it when I was there in March (should have!) but if they still have a Naughty Temple next time I am there I am pulling that trigger.

 

A couple cases, behind the counter. I'd think so, but get there early.
