Well, you could also read that as "I didn't want to miss the game either, so I am pushing it back to Monday."

Stopped by Prairie Trail over lunch, Doll was there wheeling in ~12 cases of regular and 4-5 cases of variants and one ~1/6 barrel keg.

I will say what Oakland Road did 2 years ago was perfect (though, it was an 11am kickoff, same with last year). Iowa doesn't play until 2:30 this year so doing a late morning release (10 or 11am) would've been sweet, but maybe that's just me!

Do we have a price or estimates of price on the new bottle format?

Everything except for Prop is going to be available in Iowa. The stacks of cases I have been seeing at different locations are huge. I actually expect regular to sit on shelfs for most of the day, if not longer, in some places.

Really? Because places like Bootleggin Barzinis said they're only getting 2 cases.

West Ames Hy-Vee is getting a ton of cases and I don't even think about them when it comes to buying beer.

From what I've gathered, 7G and Doll handle BCBS completely differently. Seems like at least regular will be plentiful in the metro. Us in Eastern Iowa might have a little tougher time.

Can you expand on this at all, did they receive less than Doll or do they allocate a majority to certain stores?

Has any where in Iowa City announced a release?

There certainly is health insurance, FUTA taxes, SUTA taxes a graphics design department, forklifts, etc, etc. Homebrewers keep bringing up raw ingredients cost all the time, and forgetting about overhead, and taxation.

At least for half of the state that is. 7G doesn't have anything to offer besides Regular and Barleywine I'm hearing to retail stores.

WineStyles in Coralville mentioned on Twitter or Instagram (can't remember which) they will likely only get enough for Beer Club members. Haven't seen any other IC news yet.

Waterfront Hyvee is doing 4 bottles per person for regular and 1 bottle per person for Barleywine.

7G is getting variants I'm sure, but they will be held for festivals and dinners I'd assume. Like vanilla rye showing up at Benz Beerfest and Northside. Not sure what Doll does I guess. People in this thread have made it seem like regular will at least be plentiful in DSM.

Excuse my ignorance. Does 7G cover Eastern Iowa and Doll cover Western?
