Roger Wilco had some of the bottles available, they got some in this morning. The beer manager said there was a decent line before they even opened, which is pretty surprising to me. He said they only got a case of the anniversary, which was the to sell out...$31 a bottle... O_O

That's actually a decent price. My old local shop had them for $29 a bottle.

Yeah seems like $30 is standard, $40 markup, and anything after that for complete gouging. With how bourbon forward anniversary is supposed to be maybe just at some point pocket the money and get a good $40 bourbon and a $12 regular BCBS? Oh well. A friend did pick up a birthday in PA to split post vaccinations in a socially distant manner early spring (health care, so sooner rather than later I hope on the vaccination front). That was a LOW LOW PRICE.... Of $35. Oh well missed ANTEAD. And uh, it's a celebration so 17.50 for 8oz is totally reasonable. I did talk him out of buying anniversary at $40. Seems like in Philly they were much more available, both birthday and Anni at $40 to the point you didn't need to have necessarily lined up during a pandemic (he bought at noon, though he got the second to last bottle from the box they had). Weird in a no keg year NJ seems to have gotten very little. Even regular by me was scant relative to normal. Easily got a bottle at only $14, but they had a much lower stock at my normal spot than the past couple years. Wonder if they figured out how to not overload NJ and get more to the areas of the country that still have scarcity.

I can't make any promises, but if any active BAers want tips on places to find both Birthday/Anniversary (at least as of this afternoon) that had little to no fanfare and probably won't sell out for a good bit feel free to PM me... just tell me if you're closer to Trenton or Camden and I can let you know a tip for either that's a 20-30min trip across the bridge. (Sorry for not just posting it here, but these places have been great for me to lesiurely stroll into over the years and I don't want lines there next year lol)

I think you responded to the wrong post. Jon posted about the maple. I posted about the wheat wine from last year. But I did also get the #4.
