Elmhurst is down to a case of regular

 

River Forest was pretty easy. Got there at 7, was 8th in line. Maybe 10 people behind me. Looked like they had a case of Prop, 2 coffee, about 6 regular. Didn't see the Barleywine.

 

Did they get variants? I live there but work downtown and went with the 7AM option. You know, because I wanted to get into work early and stuff...

 

Yeah they had 6 prop. I was 7th and got coffee which was what I wanted. Not sure if they even had a full case of coffee.

 

So for elmhurst...
There were about 7 cases of reg, exactly 7 bottles of prop, about half or less a case of coffee and half or less a case of barleywine

 

Then I guess I was 8th. Haha I just know I was the first the person after Prop ran out and everyone in front of me got Prop

 

Yeah we all got prop lol.

 

Got only BW at WH Schaumburg. Was like 30-40th in line. Looked like they had few Props, case or less of coffee and like 4 cases of Barleywine.

Stopped by at closest Meijer after, they have 2 cases of regular, will start selling at 9.

Is there gonna be any more releases this year? Desperately need to get a Coffee.

 

Are all meijer releasing some today? I talked to folks at meijer and they looked at me like I was speaking Chinese

 

Yeah, I wasn't planning on going, but the wife said "pick up some milk on your way back from daycare." WF isn't exactly on the way, but I figured I'd check it out. Strolled in at like 8:10, picked up a few things on my way to the line, and still had a chance to buy the last bottle of BW. Left it for the guy behind me and just got a single Reg instead.

It was pretty funny seeing 4 bearded guys in knit caps walk-racing one another from their cars as I pulled into the parking lot. Nobody broke into a run, but there was definitely some jockeying to get to the doors first.

 

WF Naperville had 10 reg cases and 1 each of the variants. Sold out of all in 14 minutes. 12 of first 15 got coffee. I was 18th and got Prop.

 

Evanston North (apparently, according to customer service, I was there long after this) got 10 cases of regular, and 15 people were in line at open, so, instant sell-out.

 

Can I still get a Regular there?
Or rather, should I send my grandmother over there?
She's awake now!

 

No sorry regular was out in 14 minutes. At 2 per it was 60 people or so in quickly nobody in line got shut out least (saw someone come in late and grab a single stray in the liquor aisle)

 

Did they sell out, or would there be any regular left?

 

Northbrook WF (Willow & Waukegan) had at least a case each of Prop and Coffee from what I saw and probably 4-6 cases of regular. I was there at 6A.M. and was the 2nd person in line (so I snagged Coffee as my variant). When the place opened at 8 A.M., there were 45 people in line (the WF employee called it out as they opened the store). Not sure if there are any regular left but I got to imagine that all the variants were gone by the end of that initial line.

 

Did anybody check out the willowbrook WF?

 

They still had some regular at 11am

 

I called Deerfield WF and they told me they sold out. I didn't actually confirm it in person though.

 

I bet they ran out. That location didn't seem like it got a whole lot
