Where is prop15 on tap tonight in Chicago? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers. We've at Fat Pours now!

Per twitter, Clybourn just has regular right now. The GI new taproom is probably the best bet.

Stopped at two today, the new armanettis on McLean in elgin has regular, but wants $16 or $17 so I passed...idiots have it behind the counter and asked some bum looking young kid buying two packs of angry orchard if he wanted to buy some. When he looked at them confused then said no they told him it was "an extremely rare goose island beer" he looked even more confused then said no again.

hahaha. that place is very new. used to be a harley davidson dealership... I thought i paid too much in Hampshire at $14 a bottle for regular, but the owner is known for over charging. I gladly paid for Convenience factor..Less than 20 ppl in line at opening w/ full allotment.

Went to GI Fulton St location this afternoon. Last call was at 5:30. Had everything on tap minus rare for $7.

Yeah the Mchenry Binnys was a joke...got there super early..as in 1am...was 10th in line...That store is full of crooks. Rumor is a lot was held for employees and possibly some other customers. Went to smaller stores and walked out with way more then the hours I wasted at that crap hole. Every year something happens there...needless to say supporting your local shop is the best way to go.

So 10th in line you should have been able to pretty much get anything the got delivered, so what did you end up with from there?

10th in line at BG Binnys didn't get you Rare and BARELY got you Rye. So my guess is in Mchenry it was similar? 2 regular, 1 barley wine, 1 coffee, 1 prop and maybe 1 rye?

Ok, this may seem like a dumb question, but if you were willing to stand in line for 8 hours for the chance to buy an allotment that Binny's own blog said would be limited at its satellite stores, why wouldn't you just head to LP where you knew if you got a ticket (and they made no secret that they were giving out more than last year, which they mentioned was about 750) you would get the full allotment?

For me it was a transportation logistics issue as well as a few local friends with me that had to stay local for child care reasons. Time in the early AM isn't an issue and we can set up tables and such under an awning in BG which I don't think we could do at LP and I don't have a tent. So long way of saying "life" dictated I stay in the burbs 5 mins from my house. I will probably find a way to do LP next year depending on the weather. That said being 10th in line actually worked out perfectly for me as I'm actually glad I didn't need to decide on spending $65 on Rare (I would have done it and told myself it's worth it but I doubt it would have been).

Same situation here. Logistics brought me to BG binnys, same as last year. Just seemed way under allocated.

In hindsight standing in line overnight at Lincoln park would have been a decent option...just tried to be closer to home

Waited at Binny's on Friday. About 50th in line and got 2 Regular, 1 Barleywine, and 1 Coffee with a snifter. Interestingly enough, I went to local shops later on Friday, Saturday, and today and snagged 3 more Barleywines and 4 more Regulars.

As stated earlier, the Elgin Armanetti's has it if you're willing to pay a bit more. I got one bottle of regular for $14 this morning. It's behind the counter, inside their super secret cabinet...
