Who all had a Black Friday event this past year. I was told only 9 accounts in the state got BCBS for Fiday release and am calling BS on this. So BA people list the ones you know of.
I'll start on the West side.
    Woodmans Onalaska

You could find BCBS at 30-40 places in Madison on Friday. Even if you counted a set of stores as 1 account (like both Woodmans as 1, both Hyvee as one, etc), you're easily over a dozen

What places other than the big grocery liquor stores (Woodman's, HyVee, Whole Foods) and craft beer stores (Steve's, Alpine, Star, JSM) got BCBS this year? As far as I could tell only a fraction of the shops in Madison that got it last year got it again this year.

I knew someone would ask and honestly, it was an estimate from previous years, but off the top of my head

    Woodmans x3
    HyVee x2
    Fresh
    Star
    JSM
    Trixies
    Sadana
    Harleys
    Party Port
    Mcfarland Liquor
    Steves x3
    Alpine x2
    Whole Foods
    Metcalfs x2
    Stoughton Spirits
& last year the Bariques chain had it

So maybe over estimated @ 30-40 but enough to disprove the claim of 9

A lot of places had it in Milwaukee, not all on Friday though. It seemed to roll out starting Friday and going forward a week. Pretty low limits across the board. The bigger stores would sell you a single 4 pack and the smaller stores were 2 bottles/person. I had to go to 5 different stores to piece together the 12 bottles I got. I hung around Lakefront on Black Friday though, so I missed out on many options. Had I put in more effort, it probably wouldn't have been difficult to get a shit ton of bottles.

Fresh got some? I stopped in on BF and asked because I picked some up there last year, and they told me they didn't get any BCBS this time around. :-|

A lot of those places are outside of Madison, but you're right – that obviously completely blows away the claim that only nine accounts got it statewide.

It was difficult for us and we put a pretty full day in. 3 of us (a fourth joined in later) drove to about a dozen or so stores and scored 2 cases of reg, zero variants. Sendiks seemed to be the account that soaked up all the smaller shops that usually get some, I'm sure Rays/Discount getting pallets and each Woodman's getting about the same didn't help much either.

In the Central WI area only the regular version of BCBS was sold. I was told that variations would be distributed to stores based on other Goose Island proucts sold. The managers I talked to were not made aware of this until late in the year and were not very happy.

That 9 cases to the state thing is garbage. There were more than 9 cases of variants and a ton more BCBS.
