Max's in Fell's Point Baltimore is opening at 8am with a bunch of barrel aged Stouts on draft and in bottles. No specific mention of Bourbon County yet, but I'm 98% sure there will be BCBS on draft and more than likely several variants in bottles. Keep your eye on their web page.

Yeah, last year it was just BCBS and BCBBW, with Courage IRS. They opened at 11, no growler fills but bottles to go.

Max's seems to be turning Black Friday into a BA Stout Day. Brilliant! I really hope they are able to get their hands on some BCBCS and Vanilla kegs or sixtels or anything.

Bought a few bottles at maxs last year. Boy was that a mistake. $10 or so a bottle. But I did drink some on draft. Boy was that delicious!!!

Cool, thanks. Any idea on any bottle shops? (I plan on making a few calls in the coming weeks, will update if I find anything as well)

this all sounds awesome! i am excited, and i know i am off work, and i think i will be in town.

not to change course, but keeping in the bcbs in bmore theme-does anyone have an idea the best ways and places to acquire bcbs and it's variants? last december i stumbled into to it through my brother in laws beer club at his local liquor store. i am hoping to be able to snag more if possible this year.

For a bar price, $10 (or so) actually doesn't sound all that bad. The Perfect Pour routinely sells bottles of BCBS for more than that.

pfff, no one actually buys stuff from there. that's why it's marked up so high. they need the few sales to count. :stuck_out_tongue:

Regular BCBS is readily available - I saw it several places for at least a few days ranging from $18-25 per four pack. The variants were much rarer. I traded for almost all my variants.

I'm sure beltway (total wine and more) will have BCBS, but they price keeps people from buying. About 22-25 a 4-pack.

Respectively what prices did people pay for BCBBW 4-packs and BCBCS 4-packs? Also, in-state prices for Bramble last-year? I think my friend paid like $26 for the only bottle I saw.

I only saw the BW on Black Friday and it was $23. Never saw 4-packs of coffee, just singles from $6 to $12 with bottle limits.

    Last year I paid $21.99 for a BCBBW 4pk.

Any thoughts on Vanilla Rye? I'm most likely missing out on the release in NYC and will be in Baltimore.

Total Wine's website lists BCBBW for $19 a 4-pack. Do you think they will honor that price at the actual store (Towson/Beltway)?

The prices on the website with seasonals are typically from the year prior unless the beer is in stock. You'll see some beers that were marked down significantly to get rid of stock on the website, but the prices will go back up the following year. In the case of BCBS, $19 was the price last year, so hopefully it stays the same for this year.

Long story short, they can change the price for this year's release if they want, so it may or may not be $19 again.

will total wine/beltway put it on shelves? or do you have to ask someone?

while they have a huge selection, and i always ind ample goodies, there is never anything exclusive when i happen to be there.

They are inconsistent with that. BCBS was behind the counter last year, so you had to ask. I would assume it will be that way again. On the other hand I've seen Parabola just out on the shelf before, so you never know with the limited releases.

is Black Friday the first day it's available here? Is Black Wednesday only available in selected cities, and then nationally 2 days later?

i have no idea man. i have only seen black wednesday referenced here, so i suppose black wednesday is unique to certain markets.
