However, Binny's won't release the count until the day of. They take into account how many people are standing in line to figure it out. So, theoretically speaking: if twice as many people show up this year (a very real possibility) and they get the same allotment, we'd all be getting 1-2 variants and there's a chance they'd have to break up the BCBBW/Coffee 4packs so that everyone gets something.

I honestly don't know how they could get more than last year. It was a mountain of a beer. I'd be very pleasantly surprised if this year's allotment = last year's.

Well, your post being the tipping point of example, you're posing comparison of:

1) number of people last year vs this year
2) store allotment last year to this year
3) customer allotment last year to this year

Too much effort for something 3 months away.

The effort isn't in the typing, it's the thought process and speculation and back-and-forth that will inevitably continue.

It's just that there really isn't any helpful information at this point in time (i.e., it's too damn early). Everything will key off allocations & stores won't know their allocations until literally the day before most times. Anything before then is sheer speculation and speculating 3 months prior is somewhat pointless.
Just keep an eye out for the plethora of Definitive BCBS release threads that will be sure to pop up in November (if not October). I promise there will be plenty of rumors, hearsay and false information with a sprinkling of truth here & there. Oh and watch out for all the bcbs zombies around the city that week. Walking/driving around dazed hitting speed dial on their phones and mumbling, "do you have any BCBS variants? do you have any BCBS?" over and over and over... foaming at the mouth. It can get ugly.

 

not sure if it was last year or the the year before that, but I went to FFF on the Saturday after Thanksgiving with my sister that was in from out of town and it looked like everyone else had the same idea. absolute shitshow. We got there 30 minutes before noon to a line of over 100 people. we didn't get a table until 2 pm. The upside was that they were selling zombie dust to go so I was able to kill an hour in that line.

 

if the negative responses are getting to you, just do a little extra legwork and sift through last years forum posts, you will get all the answers you need and then some.
