Hey guys, just a heads up!! For the folks that have never had this beer, Craft & Growler is having a "keep the glass" pint day on September 2nd there in Dallas. They are tapping the regular Bourbon County Stout!! I'll be there the weekend before but if someone wants to ship me a growler of this or hell even half a growler, I would be forever grateful!!! Also, if you haven't had the Numb Comfort from Deep Ellem, they will be tapping that August 26th!! Cheers!!
Can't tell if this is a troll post, but either way I would imagine there is no chance that they will allow growler fills.
For the love of BEER, I would never be "that guy" that plays with our emotions!!!! But your probably right, I doubt they allow growler fills on the BCBS. Numb Comfort, more than likely yes since I've gotten some in the past when living in Dallas.
Another heads up - TW Park in Dallas is releasing VR, Regular, Coffee, and BW tomorrow (14th) at 6:30. Better start lining up now. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town. If anyone wants to pick up some extra Coffee OR VR...i'd buy or trade for it
Damn!! Thats a lineup right there!!! I too would be ready to drop some cash for someone that can pick up some extra for me! Hell, just a 4 pack is fine, I'll be there the weekend of the 28th this month!
Not too sure. Seemed a little odd to me too, but hey, if it gives me a chance to try it since I can't score any in San Antonio then I'll jump on it.
Pure speculation - It's possible that some craft beer bars are starting to realize that they won't be getting BCBS this year because they don't support GI year-round. So they're selling last year's release now because they won't be getting any new inventory in November. That's just a guess though.
I ask because BCBS is popping up in stores around the country. Like a second release. I just had someone pick up a few 4 packs in Vegas. Wonder if we'll be seeing more of last years showing up here and there.
One of the distributors here was pouring a bunch at a festival a couple weeks ago. Cases of stout and a little barleywine.
