Nicks in merrillville has One four pack left as on 12pm today. I'm sure most here got some. This alerts is for the late group.
I know there is some speculation that this will now be a year-round release. I asked Brett Porter about this directly last Friday night, and he said nyet. There were still many cases in the warehouse at Fulton & Wood, but it will dry up.
Wild speculation: GI's beer calendar shows BCS available in Oct but not Nov or Dec. If their bottling activity was all in Aug-Sep we're bound to hit the end of this wave before long. Assuming there's a 2nd draft-only wave like this past summer, seems like we might be waiting for the 2013 release for the next batch of bottles.
In the aftermath of the Coffee/Cherry Rye releases, I heard most retailers saying that they weren't expecting any more regular BCS. Whether that was for the season, for the year, for the quarter... who knows. I feel like it's been mentioned before (I could be wrong!) but if BCS is going to go year-round, it will be via draft long before via bottles.
This stack of bourbon county remains intact, minus a few cases, as of tonight. It's hard to tell from the pic, but including the stack of 5 in front, this display is three cases deep, so 25ish cases remain on the floor.
I like to dream that those three cases to the left are full of FW XVI. But you'd only find something like that in DeKalb, IL.
