It's the 2013 batch but over the past few weeks I've gotten alerts from a number of stores that got more than a few cases. I picked up a case last week but just found out whole foods has it on tap and in bottles as of yesterday. Just in case anyone was interested.
Just called them and they said they never had BCBS on tap or in bottles since last Nov. Could this be the wrong Whole Foods you are mentioning?
Because of work, I literally just missed a big sale today in Jersey... BCBS Velvet Merkin Sucaba Parabola Prarie BOMB! ... sigh ...

Interestingly enough, I got an e-mail around 2:00 today from BeerMenus with the following tag: " Whole Foods Market Plymouth Meeting now has Goose Island Burbon County Brand Stout growlers. 07/10/2014 " But when I followed the link to the page it wasn't listed.
I'll post a screen shot of the update I received from them when I get to a computer. But that whole foods is notorious for lying. I picked up a Parabola from them a few weeks back after every employee the whole week told me they didn't get any in. Mysteriously that Thursday they only had one left that they took out of a cabinet to give to me. The lady that gave it to me said they got it Monday of that week.
sorry, i have to ask, as i do not live in pa: does whole foods have kegs/taps for growlers? holy sh*t, that is awesome! man, i am sort of in awe, not just taps, but exceptional stuff.
I certainly have no reason to doubt you on that. But if they won't say they have it what can you do? I have found them to have good selection and prices on many beers. Wish I could get my hands on more BCBS...my absolute fave
Don't be. They sold out of all the bottles before noon, except Lolita(why they stashed a shelf turd is anyone's guess). The Cherry Rye was distributed to about 16 people. (I was 3 behind the last growler, but got a taste from a generous friend.) Most of the tap list was still available about an hour ago... (XV & Old School were gone). I grabbed a fill of Curieaux since I was there.
