They confirmed this. Going on at 6PM. Pasadena has bottles of Coffee and Regal. I bet Long Beach has the same.

No problem! If it makes you happy, glad I could help.

Full disclosure, when I sarcastically reported this I didn't realize that regal is 25msrp. In my mind that's an outrageous price but it is what it is and closes the gap substantially on what I first thought was a pretty egregious price gouge.

Happy holidays guys. From the surly @Catchy_Name to the miserly @Sirhclive and everyone in between!

Wouldn't be Buzz if you didn't have to pay $25 for a raffle (granted you get beer) to pay $40 over msrp for a beer

No. Honkers IS made by ABI. BCBS and variants are still the real deal though, made by the real GI crew. Awesome as ever.

Same deal with Green Flash making the core Alpine beers but the big boys still brewed by Shawn at Alpine.

Are you in San Diego? Split a 2015 BCBS with me, you'll know it isn't some macro crap. It's as legit as it ever was.

Scoped out WF El Segundo earlier today, beer guy said they are selling it on Friday. I asked which variants and he replies with"I dont know".

I don't know is accurate. The reps are literally hand delivering it. It isn't coming on the ABI trucks.

I'll be drinking a ton of Yonkers Ale since I have to buy a 6 pack of it to enter every raffle.

Which East Bay grocery store is it? I have mine already so I'm just curious now...

Dog, no one believes you had heard of this beer a year ago. Let it go.

I love this thread, although I'm worried about that too at the same time.

Grabbed 6oz pours of BCBCS and Regal Rye at LBC Congregation at $9. Pricey, but damn were they tasty. The regal smelled like pure jam...flavors didn't shine through as much but was still really good. They also had a beer labeled 2015 BCBS Vanilla? Didn't think they did a vanilla this year. Tasted awesome! Like a chocolate bourbon marshmallow. Gotta say vanilla>coffee>regal.

Then I hit up Beachwood and grabbed a pint of Greenshift...mmmm. So good.

Out of bottle at Congregation Pasadena

Coffee was disappointing out of bottle. Barely any coffee.

Regal was a candied sweet mess. Disgustingly out of balance. Tasted like you just drank the juice from a maraschino cherry jar

    Reg BCBS was pretty good.

Ahhh, last bottle of Nelson* was legit as good as any Nelson I've had.

I'm not even gonna pretend that I know what up with 312 or Honkers, didn't drink them then, don't drink them now. I think you guys are all full of shit acting like you're 312 aficionados.

Had stout and barley wine on draft and split a bottle of regal ($48!) and coffee ($24) at congregation Pasadena last night. Honestly I was disappointed. Regal was a sweet syrupy boozy mess. Maybe it will get better with age? Coffee was alright but it's quite different than years past. I much preferred the 2013 with intelligensia. Regular BCS was my favorite. There are better stouts out there that are easier to get. I'd take Griffith J Griffith any day of the week. Can't wait for barrel aged.
