BCBS in CA?

Saw that literally as soon as I posted that.

 

I hit Pat Holden's in Oxnard last night and they had 4 bottles of Rare, 3 Regal, and 5 cases of Regular which all sold through quickly.

 

On Wednesday, I stopped by a local place and they had BCS regular on the shelves. So, I bought a case. The guy then said since I bought a case, I get one BCS for free. So, I got 13. He did have Rare, Barleywine, Regal and Coffee stout but said that he couldn't sell those until friday. They did mark the prices up a little. The regular was $15 a bottle. He said the Regal and Barleywine will sell for $25 and the Rare for $90. Not buying those for the price and the simple fact that I won't be showing up there tomorrow morning. I got my stash. I do want to get my hands on a couple Barleywines and Coffee Stouts though.

Popped open one of the BCS today and the stuff is good but I feel that the 2014's were better. But, I will hold judgment until I have another bottle. But so far the 2014's are much better. I still have a bunch of those. So, I might do a littler vertical to see.

 

Not really familiar with that area....we were on our way from the bay area up to El Dorado Hills and stopped there to pick up a Thanksgiving selection. Thought I'd ask about it and that's what I learned. So cute-the first two clerks had no idea what I was talking about until the manager came along and gave us all the info.

 

Downtown Oakland WF sold the one case of BCBS they had on Tuesday, apparently. A girlfriend was there in the morning and managed to buy one bottle - by the time I could check on Wednesday, the rest of the case was sold. But who knows, maybe they'll have more for tomorrow.

 

Any sightings or updates in south San Jose? I might hit whole foods blossom hill before work.

 

As of 2 AM there are about 25 people in line at MR K's in placentia. Uhhhh....

 

Gotta suck on dat Inbev teet. How many of them are Home Depot day workers?

 

Im visiting santa monica from the east coast. Will duck blind at 11th and montana or santa monica liquors at 10th and wilshire have bcbs?

Bradley's in Tustin has about 25 people out front as of 6:20am.

 

That was too easy. Went to the liquor store down the hill about 10 minutes after they opened. No one in line, grabbed my stout, paid and back home in 5 minutes. Easy pickings here in Carlsbad. At least that went easy after The Bruery crash of 2015.

 

Which store? Texas? How much? Cheers

 

Country Wine on El Camino. It was high, $19.99, but no line. They had 3 full cases.

 

How's the line at El Cerrito?

 

Please post thier prices and limits. I know it'll sell out, but I'm curious since that place always seems overpriced.
