BCBS in CA?

The have 13-15 stout and VR none of the other variants unfortunately

 

I'm not sure if 07 ever sold here, but 08-09 was a shelf turd. I could reliably buy 08 maybe up to 6 months after release. 09 was a little harder to find, but I managed to get a few bottles of it for I think $9.99 at Hi-Time, and it took a while for them to sell through. Now that you have guys treating beer like stocks, those days are long gone. My gf and I went to Barrelworks for some pours today and some brahs behind me couldn't stop talking about trade values of different beers. I hope knuckleheads like them eventually jump ship for the next trend, but it's doubtful that'll happen anytime soon.

 

Damn. I used shop there all the time but havent been there in a couple of years.

 

Anyone know if surly goat has a line still?

 

While not in CA, I picked up a bomber of 2009 in Arizona in April of 2010. Never expected that.

I just had a pour of Regal and a pour of Coffee at Surly Goat. Coffee was delicious. Regal was good but the flavors were not well defined for me. I'm going to sit on my bottle for awhile.

 

I walked in at 6:30 and there was zero line.

 

Where in TX?

 

I was just thinking the same thing. Only difference I noticed was the coffee or whatever was in there took some of the burn away....bummer

 

The Costco in Tustin didn't have any. Not sure about the other one in Tustin at The District.

 

It varied for sure, the Bevmo I got mine at only sold it by the case.

 

Picked up 2 at TW Rancho Cucamonga and they mentioned they only had "a few" left. 2 bottle limit

Yeah, I remember seeing that Hi Times and TW had the 09 bombers, but I bought my bottles online. Since those places were way out of my way. But yeah, I miss those days. I havent traded in years. But when I traded it was just $4$ for shit that you wanted, and that was it. I know there has always been trade value, but now it seems there literally measuring each other dicks.

 

Just regular BCBS?

 

There is probably at least one random store somewhere that has bottles of Rare just sitting there and we don't know where it is. That happened to me last year with Vanilla Rye. I found it at a random store I'd never been to before and the owner had literally no idea what it was.

 

Anyone in the Bakersfield area know if there was any out here?

 

Yeah. They didn't get anything else. The state only got bcbs and rare so far.

 

I found a shit load of the regular BCBS at ralphs near Los Angeles airport (LAX)

 

Total wine long beach town center still has a case, limit two.

 

Last night I hit up the Yorba Linda Costco for BCBS. They said that only the LA county areas got them in and the guy showed me all the areas that had them in stock. Lakewood had something like 600+ bottles in stock.

So I headed to lakewood this morning. When I got there, there was nothing to be had. When I asked the manager where they were all at, he told me that one person came in when they opened and bought every single bottle they had in stock. He said they had to move them with a pallet jack and forklift onto this man's flatbed rental truck. This guy wouldn't let other people get near the bottles because he was buying them all and the police had to get involved because he was getting rowdy.

This is absolutely fucking pathetic. I am embarrassed to be a part of this community.
