Yes, in the cooler. After I took 3, there were 5 left. If they're gone, you might also ask the beer guy what's in back.

All the Gelsons got allocated some...and right now they are doing 10% make your own six packs....$9.99 each at that price!

NorCal distribution for the Bourbon Counties is weird...really GI in general. I've been to a number of stores that have some of their large format bottles but no sixpacks of their regular stuff, which is fine since all their sixpack beers are garbage since they discontinued the Nut Brown Ale. In other threads, there is a lot of talk of BCBCS allocations being based on sales of their year-round stuff but I think it's different here.

BevMo Walut Creek @ Oak Grove also unexpectedly got 20+ cases in 2nd wave last Fri, 11.99, no limit, 13.7% only, all just sitting on the floor. It came with one case of BW which went fast.

Regular-to-variants ratio is quite misbalanced this year.

What's the story with the varying abv? I know it's been similar in the past, but just wondering why? I would think it would all be blended to be uniform.

Some states (i.e. Georgia) have abv limits on their beer (14%). The 13.7% version was sent to these states.

Last Saturday I was able to walk into a Whole Foods on the Peninsula when they opened and purchase multiple bottles of Rare. No line. They received one case of Rare last Friday. A BevMo nearby also had several cases of regular BCBS with no limit last Friday.

I'm split ~50/50 on the 13.7 vs. 14.3 now, with the weaker more dominating in the 2nd wave of deliveries

A store in Palos Verdes got some more Regal Rye and Barleywine in stock today. I got the 2nd to last bottle when I was there a couple hours ago.

Hillside Liquor used to sell beer to us when we were in High School in the early 90's. Random fact of the day...

I just heard this from a friend too, some really word shipping patterns this year, but hell, I woke up on black Friday hoping to score two bottles, and ended up with 4, they sold out before I left, and that was only 15 minutes after opening... I thought I was lucky, now I'm sitting on almost 3 cases of regular and dont even know what to think, I'm still kind of in shock, but hey, now I don't have to ration them out to one a year like I planned on, and can even do a little experimenting with making my own variants, since I wasn't fortunate enough to get any.

What's really weird is I've heard multiple stories from other states about regular being incredibly scarce, but variants being abundant...while we're struggling to find any variants at all out here in the bay area. Not sure how inbev was planning out their distribution, but it is odd to say the least.

There's quite a bit of regular BCBS in the East Bay. Pleasanton BevMo had 16 cases of BCBS on the floor when I walked in yesterday, but charging $12.99 a bottle, a fairly large mark up.

Anyone still seeing regular anywhere between OC and SD? Preferably some near the 11.99 price range.

    Cheers

Is that owned by Nate's Korner deli? Never pegged him for the gouging type.
