I agree that if someone pays these obscene prices, they deserve it. However, posting this information facilitates those transactions. Let's not pretend that they don't have an effect, since anyone can read these forums including new money folks who have more money than sense.

I'd argue that the only way these people learn is getting it where it hurts.

As long as somebody responds here to the effect that the deal sucks. then it is more of a case of a fool and their money being soon parted.

Stopped by Dale Jr today... Still Regal there but just a few. Reg is 10.99, but the real ****** is happening with the 19.99 BW and the 39.99 Regal.

Yep, I think its awful. Tastes more fruity than Regal Rye. Have had it from both bottles and tap.

Lol liquor store @ west end of Simi has Rare. $149.99 because it's a 'collectors' item. Don't think I'll go back there.

La Bodega in Riverside had 3 and 1/2 cases sitting on the floor, 1 bottle limit. I was there on Wednesday afternoon. Plenty of shoppers and no one seemed interested in the BCBS.

That place in Simi is called Leo's. It is the worst. The guy illegally sells Pliny and last year wouldn't sell bourbon county to a friend because he wasn't a regular customer even though he was. So I left them a nice Yelp review and sent emails to stone distributing and Russian river about it.

Weston's liquor in Murrieta has BCBS for................$19. The guy behind counter was bragging how he was the the only guy in town to have any but, at that price I believe him. I said "pass" and wished him good luck.

The number of dollar signs you used is accurate. A store that I follow on social media posted some pappy pix last year. When I called for pricing on the 20 year, his response was "nineteen ninety nine." For a split second I was thrilled to have found a place until I realized he didn't use any decimal points.
