    $10 for regular for me.

BASS and Speedway variants and Modern Times BA stouts are the local stouts. Plus all my Bruery stouts. All those are easy to get.

I also have a few Jackie O's through trading. Then there are another dozen random BA stouts in my cellar.

Without saying which I think is better, let's just say that all of the above satisfy me when I have a craving for a decadent sugar bomb. One of the things I really liked about BCBS was the 4 pack 12oz format. Now that that's gone...

That's fair. I was thinking more about what you can pick up in stores versus what we have to order online/through the Bruery. If we're taking those things into account (BASS, Modern Times BA stuff, Bruery, etc) then yeah, there's no real reason to put much effort into finding BCBS unless you're really set on a slightly smaller bottle. Agreed on the 12oz thing.

Buying online is preferable to standing in line, for me.

Does anyone know where in San Diego it will be realeased? Not looking for variants, just a 4 pack or two of the Regular.

Many of the Ralph's will carry it, and AFAIK they won't have 4 packs this year.

Bevmo should have it. Go stand in line before they open.

Let me clarify: they are distributing it in 17 oz bottles only - not that much more than a 12oz. But the price/oz. will likely be way up.

I saw the below pricing in a different thread for those interested. I would hope not to see much higher than this...

    Bourbon County Stout -$10.99
    Bourbon County Barleywine - $12.99
Bourbon County Coffee Stout - $12.99
    Bourbon County Rare - $59.99
Bourbon County Regal Rye - $24.99

Edit: Different region and all, but I would think the suggested price should be similar.

According to a friend who's a beer buyer, the price per ounce is roughly the same as last year, so no, InBev is not maximizing profits. Retailers, on the other hand, are going to use the format change and (perceived) rarity to their advantage.

Word on the street is that Rare will be sold here in SD at $89.99/bottle, regal rye close to $39.99, and the others at about a $2-3 markup.

I wasn't going to stand in line before, and now I see 0 reason to do so.

I encourage everyone in SD to stand in line and use their beer budget on this so that my F5 finger doesn't have to work so hard on December 1st.

So TW should be selling them for about $8 a bottle I guess. TW doesn't give a shit about perceived rarity.
