That sounds terrible. Glad I was not able to attend. Hope you at least got to get your servings in.In the situation you described I would rather pay an up charge for bourbon county beer dinner rather than deal with that stress. I hope Lancaster is allocated more next year....

 

Seeing as how I was the first person in line to not get any coffee bcbs, as the vanilla was long gone, I wasn't in the mood to play anymore reindeer games this close to the holiday. Especially as the line crashers I described were a contributing cause. Luckily, a local has had the stout on tap for awhile and I've been able to enjoy a few pours. Have talked to a few pub/bottle shop owners and they seem to universally say that these limited beers are more bother than they're worth, but get them when possible as a courtesy to their customer base. At least we don't have to worry about Heady in PA yet.
