BCBS in Miami

    This will be my first year in Miami for Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Are there usually any events for the BCBS release? I am originally from Indiana and it is not unusual to have events like the link below for this release. I haven't heard of anything similar going on down here but just wanted to see if that will end up being the case.

    Looks like you and I are the only one's in town that will be looking for BCBS... should be easy to find!

    There won't be any events like the one you linked. However, you will find BCBS, BW and whatever variant we get (last year we got coffee and vanilla rye) on draft/bottles at some local bars, so keep an eye on FB and IG for updates. Bottles go on sale friday morning at TW, ABC, Crown, Mendez, etc. I advise you get there super early since most places will only get a case of whichever variant (i.e. VR, 1pp) and never enough Coffee to go around(usually 1-4pk pp, don't know if we are getting some this year btw). You can also call "mom and pop" beer shops (Stop n Shop, Sunset Corners) and find out when they are getting their allocations.

    Thanks for the help. What have lines been like at TW stores in past years? What time did you probably have to be in line for to get VR last year?

    I usually get there around 7am, earliest 6:45 or so and I was always 1st or 2nd in line. By 7:30 you'd missed out on VR

    $25 fills at Mendez makes no sense when i got bottled of it for $10 each elsewhere. I got regular BCBS and barleywine. Really just looking to try coffee and regal now.

    As mentioned above, Batch is selling bottles of all variants tonight starting at 9p. Price points are high, from what I hear $125 for Rare and $45 for Regal and I assume they allow to-go. If you're cool with spending that, make it there early as they will be reserving bottles (check FB, they have more info there). Tryst up in Delray will have Rare, Regal and I believe coffee and they are priced more reasonably from what I've heard

    Tap 42 had coffee/regular/regal rye.. expensive prices.

    The $125 for the Rare is also out there, but that's hard to do.
