Was at Top Hops the other day where I had seen a ton left just a short time ago (same with BCBBW), is there any left in NYC? Only have one bottle and would like to pick up some more.
9th Ave. Vintner in Hell's Kitchen still has some at $9 per bottle Also according to beer menus, New Beer in the LES has some as well
Gotham Market (11th and 44th) has a bunch of both. They also have a few 50/50 eclipse bottles... at a hefty price
I was there last year in early September during the San Genarro festival and they had 7-8 cases laying around and plenty of singles in the cooler. Picked up 4 bottles at $6.99 each. I feel like they just stock extras in the back and every so often just bring a few cases out. Seems like a great idea to spread the wealth around to those who cant/dont want to deal with the madness of black friday weekend.
I've been going to Garden Gourmet in the Bronx for over a year and a half and they have always had it on the shelf.
Thanks for the heads up. That's just about the edge of what I'd be willing to pay, I think (for BC)...might be stretching it a bit. Out of their minds for the Eclipse. Did anyone else here get BCBS growlers from Whole Foods Tribeca a few weeks back? I went during growler hour and they knocked 2.00 of fills (even 32 oz). 18.00 for 32 oz of BCBS 14 was a pretty nice deal, wound up getting 3 of those.
