BCBS on Tap at Total Wine in Charleston, SC. Fill a growler while it lasts. They also still have Founders Breakfast Stout, and most non-BA Evil Twin Stouts. Goose Island did stopped here as part of their migration tour last week.
Math doesnt even make it feasible. upcharging 3 dollars ish (depending whether your store charged 5 or 6).
I was just there a little while ago, but missed seeing it on the board. I wouldn't have gotten it anyways. I still have several bottles and am currently enjoying my $25 growler of Mexican Cake!
You know how hard it would be to drink 32oz of BCBS? Hope you have friends to help you. I tried doing that last year with a 32 oz growler of BCBS from Mr. Beery's in Sarasota. I didn't fair well. And next day growler of BCBS is not something I'd recommend.
Ha ha I did the same thing last year from Beerys. I drank about 24 oz but gave my wife a pour, although that was after I'd had two glasses at the bar. And yes, two bottles worth of BCBS is about the limit in a sitting.
I don't know, I could drink BCBS until I black out, which would likely be between the first and second growler. Thanks OP for the temptation of driving to Charleston today, when I should be productive instead.
Damn that sucks man! Hit me up next time you need help killing one lol. Surprised it was no good the next day though, I've left a glass of zhukov sit overnight and it tasted great the next day.
Yeah it (BCBS) just had a lot less carbonation the next day. It was a screw top growler. Hopefully those things go the way of the dinosaurs. And leftover Zhukov and leftover pizza sounds like the perfect breakfast of champions.
Funny, last night I was at a tourist trap "craft beer" bar in VA Beach with mostly terrible beer. My cousin is local and knew the manager, who brings us pints of his "private stash". I take one sip and realize it's BCBS. I then proceed to drink 2 glasses of BCBS out of frosted pint glasses. They offered me the 24oz mug option too, but I declined. So yeah, I guess I can drink 32oz of BCBS, although this morning I wished I hadn't.
