Did they say anything about if they will be getting any of the variants?

Giant eagle in shadyside has a sign up that says Thursday December 4th at noon they will have bcbs for growler fills and with a fill you are allowed to buy a bottle. Picked a great day since most people are home at noon on a Thursday and want to get a full 64 oz growler of bourbon barrel aged beer for the opportunity to buy a loley 12 oz bottle.

There is nothing that says, "One bottle". I'm waiting to see how many cases we get to see what the bottle limit will be.

What would be the prices for a growler fill and bottle/4 pack? Do you know if you will be getting any variants at a later date?

I'm still waiting for the information I need to know prices for sure. It will be the regular mark up as any other draft. As for variants. Coffee seems to be a No. Barleywine is a Yes. I have no info on VR.

Am I misunderstanding, are BCBS growler fills required? I would not think you could fill very many.
Any reason you are not doing a Black Friday release?

Kind of OT but a request here. Could you please start to allow 32oz growler fills? Despite being a rather large guy, sometimes 64oz of a beer is too much for one sitting. There's no way in hell I could take down 64oz of BCBS @ 14.9%. That would put me in bad shape.

If I'm going to have to show up any earlier than 11:30am for a growler of BCBS, I'm going to have some sad feels.

We are not doing a Black Friday release because I want to give people who are out of town or with family a chance to get some. Really, Why be the same?

So those people are out of town, grabbing up BCBS in whatever city they may be visiting, then they have more BCBS waiting for them back home? Sweet.

That doesn't really sound unfair to the people who may be visiting Pittsburgh for the holiday, but who cares about them.

Oh, I complain about much more serious things, but this isn't the forum for those complaints.

I was just pointing out the silliness of saving the beer for homers, when it's quite possible they could be away poaching the beers from the homes of the people visiting your city!
