Are we gonna all piss and moan about profiteering with this random shop too? By my (remedial) math, that's 45 for 3. THE HORROR!

Mostly we can't have them because this city still seems to get godawful distribution it seems, despite the obvious interest in the craft beers. If some of these places are smart they'll realize not enough of their product is coming to this region while bigger metropolitan areas are flooded in the stuff. In the meantime, if we don't like the prices of these things at the shops that do get them, then don't buy it there. We still get plenty of good beers here and across the state line in Ohioland at VE and Lizardville.

Yea, that's ridiculous. That's 2.5x what other markets are charging. By your wonderful additions to this thread, I am guessing you either already have this year's BCBS or don't really care about it. Based on your cellar, I'm guessing you enjoy the beer as well. If you're cool with paying $15 for 1 bottle, then you can find it at McStealy's.

But if you do find it at other places, please add some constructive info for others looking for it. Cheers brah.

Has anywhere else besides bottle shops received the variants? Even places that are now sold out. I understand the House getting it, but Sharp Edge is still perplexing me.

And please let's end the topic of price. We're in Pennsylvania. It sucks, but bottle shops charge more for bottles... it's nothing new.

Not meaning to call you out at all. Just merely pointing out the hilarious hypocrisy where one important Pittsburgh retailer gets the brunt of hate while all others get a pass. Perhaps ding has been right about American beer culture all along.

Oh, and I did add info. Beer Nutz had variants and BCBS on draft (for 17 fucking days).

Everyone needs to fucking relax. It's just beer.

At Ho1KB? From the sound of it, very smoothly. All the bottles sold in about ten minutes with no complaints. I was there from about 1:30-2:00 & there was a medium-sized crowd, by no means were they inundated.

Incidentally, I also caught wind while I was there that Dommy's Pizza in Vandergrift had some bottles. They're sold out now, but word was that they were going for $6 a piece. Anyone able to verify this?

This is an odd request here, but does anyone here in Pittsburgh have one bottle of Wulver and one bottle of BA Siberian Night that they would be willing to trade for two bottles of BCBS? We can do this in person. Let me know please. Thanks.
