Going to be in Miami for Thanksgiving. Anyone been in Miami, or the Miami area for BCBS release and has some info about where one can find it? The website doesn't say anything about Florida that I could find. Thanks!
Last year I know Total Wine and ABC stores in South FL had it. Not sure about other retailers as I was out of town and grabbed some at ABC the week after Thanksgiving. You should probably call the stores and they should be able to tell you if they're getting it. I would arrive early on Friday morning too.
I don't remember seeing it at Total Wine down in kendall or the falls, then again it probably went quickly. I actually got a bottle of the Barleywine, Stout, and Coffee Stout at a World of Beer event. Ended up costing me close to 10 a bottle but I wanted to give them a try.
If youre around a Brass Tap or World of Beer, give them a call...most locations are getting barlywine, regular, and vanilla, they will be a few $ more expensive, but you shouldn't have a problem getting a bottle or 2 when they open at noon.
oh yeah and where do you get that info there Mr.Blum? Found me a great place to get brew so I wont always have to chase everything around.
Brass Tap in Pembroke Pines had vanilla rye on tap tonight, $13 for a 10 oz pour... Ouch. Glad I got a chance to try it though.
I had a friend swing by the Total Wine in Kendall, but they sold out. Word was Miami in general didn't receive Vanilla Rye in bottles, can anyone confirm this?

Thats pretty good to see folks down there are getting it. I know my friend checked the Kendall Total Wine, they were completely out of Coffee. Any idea if there still might be any Vanilla or Coffee in Dade area?
Not as of now. Most of the Vanilla and Coffee that arrived sold out the day of, to my knowledge. You never know, maybe Eagle is withholding some, some bars have a keg or two of the regular and variants that they will tap pretty soon. Just gotta keep your ears open.
