Sal's in Elmhurst got all but Prop today. Coffee gone, the rest going quickly

 

Was just told from the grumpy older guy that answers the phone at Binny's Grand that it came and went Wednesday.

 

From my experience the only thing you can take as truth after speaking with that guy is that what he tells you is likely incorrect.

 

I was at Binny's Highland Park last night just browsing in general and casually asked one of the staff if they were expecting more BCBS. Lo and behold they said they did receive yesterday and went back to stockroom and grabbed two regulars for me. Not sure how much is left at this point, certainly would only be Regular.

 

Sounds like he should run for public office.

 

Yep, I called about something and got him. He said, never heard of it and hung up. Went at lunch and they had it from the day before.

They did not have it yesterday at lunch, however I was able to snag a bottle of Malevolence.

 

Off topic here but does any know if malevolence is still on the shelves at binnys grand ave?

I know the LP Binnys had quite a bit of the regular stuff on Wednesday night still.

 

Much time has passed since then. :-)

 

Jewel Osco on Ashland has multiple cases of regular and barley wine.

 

BG Binnys has at least 10 cases of regular and over a case of Barleywine left. Limit 2 on reg and 1 on bw

 

Do we know if a second batch of Prop and Rare was sent out?

 

I've heard nothing on Prop.

 

I was told nobody got a second wave of prop but some places did get other variants.

 

Yeah I was in the lookout for regal but struck out on the second wave also.

 

Binny's Grand had 3 cases of BW and 3 or regular about 10 minutes ago. Limit 1 and 2.

 

They did not have any regular today. Sold out yesterday.

 

Thanks for the heads up. Still had BW and regular. Have to ask someone working liquor for it. 6 total bottles per person; ended up getting 2 and 2.

Worker called BW caramel. Probably due to caramel in tasting notes.
