Well, I was going to post this update in the Chicago Craft Beer Week thread, but it got moved to Classifieds for some reason (hoping that can get fixed).

Anyway, I went to Fatpour after work - they had Prop, Regal, BW and Regular. I had a couple Props and it was great. They also had a raffle for the chance to buy a bottle of Rare for $100, and it had to be consumed there. I was not going to accept it if I won...didn't want to spend $100 and already have some bottles at home to drink. A couple tables near me won and were more than glad to accept, so glad it went to some folks excited to drink it.

Where the hell is the Classifieds section? Is it before or after the comics section?

Exactly! I think I found it next to a dude's posting looking for a roommate.

I was wondering what happened to it. I wanted to post some stuff about BUG (Mikerphone had stemware!)

It's back - I contacted @blue-dream and he fixed it for us. I look forward to hearing more about BUG, and any other events people attended.

Did anyone attend the BCBS tap takeover at South Loop Binny's on Thursday? They were somewhat vague on what they were going to have, but I think they mentioned a vertical of regular BCBS and "other" stuff. Just wondering what ended up being poured, as I couldn't make it due to a prior engagement.

So, I went to High Noon Saloon yesterday for their GI event, where they had 2015 BCBS and 2015 BCBCS. I only went because I wanted to try some BCBCS since my bottles went down the crapper, and thought that the kegs were supposed to be fine. The kegs (or at least not all of them) are not fine. I had one BCBCS and really didn't want to finish it (but I did ). I switched over to regular after that, which was delicious. My buddy and I told the waitress that the beer was not good and that their manager should talk to their distributor/rep/whatever about getting their money refunded.

I'd love to hear from anyone attending the block party today or tomorrow how the Coffee shows.

well that blows, and on top of that, you had to experience that in High Noon Saloon. :grimacing:

to your point, i haven't had any issues or heard anything about bad kegs. but I haven't had it on draft in a couple of months.

This is my experience as well. I've had most of the variants multiple times, but not within the last few months.

That was my first time in High Noon Saloon - I actually didn't mind it. A good amount of TV's with the Thursday night football games, which can be tough to come by when you're going to a normal craft beer bar.
