BCBS tappings in Michigan (early 2016) ?

    By this time last year, I had had 2014 BCBS at about half a dozen bars around the Ann Arbor area. Even Wurst Bar had an event. This year, nada. I haven't heard anything from Ashley's, Fraser's, Sidetrack, any of the usual spots.

    Anyone know of anything coming up?

    Yeah, that was the only confirmed that I'd heard of. Seems oddly thin to only have one golf course bar get BCBS.

    Bierkeller in Taylor had one on Wednesday, with 2015 then 2014 and 2014 coffee from bottles

    According to fb, u will need to buy some sort of ticket for the bourbon bounty beers, no price though

    Hermans in Plymouth just had one, but now gone...price was not good though..$8 for 5oz....

    I know of 2 bars by me that have it, and bottles. I refuse to give them any advertisement, but I will say one is selling bottles for $30, the other is $25. I can only imagine what draft will go for.

    Place here is selling 6oz for $6.50. Can't complain too much about that.

    The one time it's advantageous to be in the middle of nowhere (rural southern IL). I had it on draft for 8 bucks (snifter,~11 oz). Saw it on draft somewhere else here for 11 bucks (knowing the place, also ~11 oz). Saw another place close by had it as well, price and pour size unknown. Still plenty of bottles to be had here as well (but no variants other than barleywine ever make there way down here).

    Yikes! That sure is steep, I wouldn't give them advertisement for that $ amount either.

    Fraser's in A2 announced a tapping for next Monday. Not sure if it's '15 though.

    They're also doing 2014 KBS vs. 2013 KBS tonight. Pretty strong January for Fraser's.

    It seems like your guys best bet would be taking the trip to Chicago for one of the many tappings here. :wink: I do wish there were more BCBS on tap back in MI, as my brother is back there and would like having it available once in awhile.

    Did anyone go to frasiers last night for the KBS tappings? was it packed? The FB group for the bcbs as 3 people on it, so i'm just curious if they're not very good at advertising their incredibly rare beers or something?
