BCBS Variants in OC/LA this week?

    I know a handful of stores had limited drops of Barleywine and Coffee on Black Friday...

    But has anyone heard about Backyard or the above being released to TW, WF or others this week?

    I know some liquor stores in the OC are supposed to get their shipments this week. WF is supposed to also. When I talked to a couple reps they didnt really know how much they were going to get from distro though.

    I'm hearing coffee could hit the shelves Friday at BevMo or TW...just depends on the allocation.

    Where did you hear this from? I heard that there are no more allocations for the year :slight_frown:.

    That is not true. I spoke with the GI rep at the Vendome Fullerton event and one of the few things he was certain about was that BCBS+ variants will continue coming through the month of December. Not all stores will get multiple allocations, but there is more bcbs coming to SoCal.

    Bill's in Atwater just got Barleywine, as in about 10 minutes ago. I just happened to be in the shop when it was delivered. One bottle limit, 6.49.

    One bottle? How many cases did they get, one? Breaking up 4 or 6 packs of beer seems like complete bullshit.

    I was a little upset when my local Total Wine was selling singles on Black Friday when I'm seeing people all over the place buy multiple four packs or even cases at a time.

    What's next? Opening my one BCBS and enjoying it myself. If I love it, I go back to Bill's, buy another, and enjoy it. Repeat as long as I don't get bored. I don't tick and I share when appropriate. But I really buy beer to just enjoy it.
