Hey guys. i have 2 verticals of BCBS right now. I am considering trading one of them ('06 - '11). I want to see if my trade is off base at all. I am looking for some of these beers: - Blabaer - Jean Chris Nomad - Crianza Helena - Ann - Duck Duck Gooze - Isabelle - RR Deviation - Wanderer - KtG - Rare Are these out of my league for the trade i am offering? I am looking for opinions before I post an official ISO:FT and look like an ass..... Thanks! EDIT: All bottles are 12oz versions. The 2009 is not a 22oz bomber.
I would say the last three are the most likely to get done, but you never know. Definitely don't trade both verticals, because you'll enjoy those wayyyyy more than most of the beers on that list, especially if you lean towards stouts over sours.
thanks. i would never trade them both. it is hard enough getting a single bottle of 11, let alone an entire vertical. BCBS is my absolute favorite beer, but i figured that I could share the love for a tasting for someone and get something that I would never be able to try as well. thanks for the response mark.
We drank the exact same vert a few weeks ago and it was awesome. The 07 was my favorite of the bunch, but that's probably because we had the PVW version...
same here. The '07 that we have is the PVW version (but i do not think that makes a huge difference, just my opinion)....
For the love of all things holy, don't trade that vert for a Kate. Kate is solid, but not worth the farm(especially when your farm is full of BA stouts).
I would not trade the entire very for just Kate. It would be Kate+. Thanks for the info. That is the lowest on my list.
I'd do it for Crianza. I wouldn't do it for wanderer, deviation, ktg + (unless it was something else tasty too), or DDG. Can't speak on the others.
