No, TC was saying that he was having trouble grabbing BCBVS, and wanted to check it off his list as a Bourbon County head. I was simply suggesting he give Proprietor's a try if he can't make a Vanilla trade work, since it's 1) Fresher 2) Easier to trade for 3) a variant of the same stout that he might not have tried, and 4) may be subject to the same wistful thoughts in years to come.

My intention wasn't to say it was the same beer, nor was it to randomly come up with a different beer. It was a suggestion of a good 2nd option, within the same family of beers.

This was just for sale in Las Vegas at a Goose Island Migration event. So I imagine there are a few recently acquired bottles that may hit the market.

Combine 2 parts BCBS with 1 part Southern Tier Crème Brulee and voila, you have BCBVS.

*I'm not kidding, this really does taste pretty good

That sounds like it'd be damn good. Creme Brulee is a little too rich for me in general, so I can see this being a great combo.

This guy nailed it. 4 years since the person purchased it... You have no idea what it's been through.
