    I've done that. Sometimes I don't like a beer then love it the 2nd time. My first Heady Topper I thought mediocre. Could have been stuffed up, ate something that messed with my taste, who knows.

    Fair enough, but trading for a couple cans of Heady Topper is much different than putting up two Beatifications for a BCBVS.

    I want more than a 3.5 ounce pour of it before I make a judgement on a beer of that caliber. I never said I disliked it, I just didn't like it as much as the others that I tasted that afternoon, apologies if I left that open for a misinterpretation. I liked but didn't love the small sample I had of it, I'd like to reevaluate it, I wanted to know what the established market value is - which is why I asked the question in this forum.

    Honestly, if you really want to try it again, connect with some local Detroit BAs, I'm sure there are a couple bottles still floating around, and offer to do a bottle share. That will be much more rewarding (and much less aggravating) than trying to figure out "market value" of a beer that has such a wide range of beers it has traded for.

    IMO, they served it way too cold on Friday. My buddy who was with me had never had Vanilla before and drank his early on in the tasting. He said he didn't get much vanilla from it. I saved mine until the end (best for last) and as it warmed, the flavor and aroma took-off! I had my buddy sip my glass and he agreed that it was outstanding.

    I think you'd definitely be able to do it for a Juicy and some "regular" HF to make up the $ difference. My tasting group landed a Vanilla, a '10 BCBCS and a few other bottles for some limited HF stuff (E. and Art, IIRC) and some HF regulars...

    I gave up a Genealogy + Twilight for one. I think you could get it done for Juicy + 1 of Twilight/Arthur. Definitely with all 3.
